Disney Opts for Digital-First<br />Release of ‘Mulan’ On Tuesday, Disney finally announced<br />the release of ‘Mulan,’ their live-action<br />remake of the 1998 animated classic. It will be available on Disney+<br />for $29.99 on September 4. 'Mulan' was originally slated for<br />a March 27 debut before being<br />removed from the release calendar. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic<br />caused ‘Mulan’ to be delayed an<br />additional two times. According to Disney CEO Bob Chapek,<br />the company has been forced to find <br />“alternative ways” to serve their consumers. Bob Chapek, via CNN ‘Mulan’ will be simultaneously released in<br />theaters that are currently open and in<br />markets where DIsney+ is unavailable.
