North Korea, is also battling the global COVID-19 pandemic.<br />North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered special aid for Gaeseong, the city, currently on lockdown over concerns of virus.<br />The regime's Korean Central News Agency reported this morning that Kim ordered food and financial aid to people in that city.<br />In late July, the regime took the "preemptive measure of the total lockdown" on Gaeseong shortly after the North reported that a "runaway" who had defected to the South three years ago had recently returned.<br />And as a precautionary measure, the regime put the city under complete lockdown.<br /><br /><br />
