This group of surfers had an incredible close encounter with a southern right whale and her calf, who swam close to shore at the popular Manly Beach in New South Wales, Australia. <br /><br />The stunning drone footage, captured by Dutch couple, Thom and Lianne (@whatifwefly_) on August 2, shows the mother whale swinging her tail towards some surfers in a bid to protect her calf.
