The French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that Lebanon must not be allowed to slide into chaos, following the devastating explosion in the capital Beirut. <br /><br />He was speaking at a virtual donor conference hosted with the United States. Officials say 220 people are now known to have died, with more than 7,000 injured in the explosion at Beirut's main port. <br /><br />There have been more clashes with police in the city during anti-government protests. <br /><br />Clive Myrie presents News at Ten reporting by middle east correspondent Quentin Sommerville in Beirut.
