A hapless gecko was rescued after it was stuck in a narrow gap in a house for five hours.<br /><br />Waraphon saw the huge gecko in despair while it struggled to move out of the gap between a pipe and wall in her kitchen in Bangkok, central Thailand.<br /><br />CB Huai Kwang rescue team rushed to the scene after the woman called them for help.<br /><br />The volunteers spent only three minutes to pull the tired reptile out of the gap before they placed it inside a sack to be transported back to the wild.<br /><br />Waraphon said: ''I heard small squeaks from the reptile and followed the sound. It was pitiful so I called for help. I do not want it to die."
