Protesters in Beirut launched projectiles and cheered as tensions rose in the wake of a deadly explosion, which killed more than 200 people and injured thousands.<br /><br />Footage from August 9 shows many protesters close to the parliament building launching projectiles over a barricade.<br /><br />The filmer said that protesters were throwing "makeshift firebombs, fireworks and stones."
