This is the adorable moment a juvenile elephant cuddles with its caretaker in Surin, Thailand.<br /><br />Supattra saw the baby jumbo lying down on her husband Punyahat's legs while he was laughing and cuddling with the animal.<br /><br />The couple adopted the baby elephant in 2019 and named it after their favourite Thai monsoon season "Phang Saifon".<br /><br />Supattra said: "Phang Saigon is sweet and affectionate. My husband and children go out and play with her everyday. We celebrated her birthday recently, she had been with us for over a year." <br /><br />The wildlife tourism industry in the country has become controversial over alleged abuse of elephants to tame them.<br /><br />There are an estimated 2,000 that live in the wild in the country and around double that amount in captivity where they are in zoos, sanctuaries or private homes.
