A young man from Thirumangalam of Madurai district in Tamilnadu got stuck down a 70-foot well when hunting doves.<br /><br />Muthukalai lost his job as a mason due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resorted to hunting the local dove population to feed himself.<br /><br />He used a rope to lower himself into the well when searching for the bird then suddenly the rope gave way and he found himself stuck in the hole.<br /><br />Muthukalai sustained multiple injuries including fractures.<br /><br />Locals heard his cries and called local rescue teams from the fire department, who rescued him.
