This is the heart-stopping moment a car rolled backwards across a busy road after the owner forgot to put on the handbrake.<br /><br />The blue Mitsubishi Mirage had been parked in front of the noodle restaurant while the owner had lunch in Bangkok, Thailand on August 5.<br /><br />CCTV shows how the empty vehicle slowly rolled backwards. Miraculously, it avoided being hit by any oncoming cars on the five-lane highway. <br /><br />The staff later rushed to helped pull the car back into the parking lot before its owner returned and apologised for the blunder.<br /><br />The restaurant manager said: "Luckily, the car was not hit while rolling backwards across the road. When we realised that the car was moving we were confused.<br /><br />''We immediately ran outside and the driver helped to move it back to a safe place.''
