An electric delivery motorcycle burst into flames after an LPG tank that it carried had a leak.<br /><br />The rider was using the electric bike to deliver gas tanks to their customers in Jakarta, Indonesia when one of the tanks exploded on August 5.<br /><br />He scrambled to safety and was shaken but unhurt after the vehicle fire.<br /><br />Abdillah, an eyewitness said: "Initially, the fire was small but there were several bursts of gas and the fire became bigger."<br /><br />The electric vehicle caught fire while passing through Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.<br /><br />Onlookers were afraid to go near the vehicle after repeated bursts of fire so the flames further spread. The other LPG tanks were also engulfed in flames after a few moments of fire.<br /><br />The incident caused heavy traffic because the other vehicles could not pass as the huge fire obstructed the road.<br /><br />Jakarta Fire Brigade Officer Gatot Sulaeman said fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the flamed and he confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident.<br /><br />He said: "The rider managed to save himself. There were no fatalities, but the motorbike and several LPG tanks were burnt."
