A venomous snake was successfully recovered by a rescue team after it became lost in a parked car. <br /><br />The incident took place in the city of Pune, western India on May 19.<br /><br />According to local reports, as a resident of Pune stepped into his car, he heard a hissing sound from under the vehicle. Fearing for his safety, he called snake rescuer Saidas Kusal, who arrived with his team.<br /><br />Their search for the elusive snake took nearly 30 minutes before Kusal saw it hiding in the chassis. <br /><br />By the time Kusal lifted the car with a jack to get a better view, the snake had gone missing again, and another thorough search revealed it had made its way to the engine under the hood. <br /><br />Footage show Kusal then grabbed the tail of the snake and patiently reeled it out. He then placed it in a water-filled bucket and the dirt and grease before releasing the reptile back into the wild. <br /><br />Kusal said: “Cars make an ideal refuge for snakes, especially during rain. Car owners should be on alert against these intruders.”
