Powerful winds blew down the windows on the 27th-floor of a building in southern China after typhoon Mekkhala made landfall at around 7:30am on August 11.<br /><br />In the video, shot in the city of Zhangzhou in Fujian Province, the windows on the 27th-floor of a high-rise building next to the sea were ripped off by the strong winds.<br /><br />Firefighters walked up to the 27th floors to rescue three people who got trapped inside the flat.<br /><br />The three trapped people were evacuated successfully, reports said.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
