A schoolboy whose scooter broke down was given a lift home - riding pillion while balancing his own bike in his lap.<br /><br />Motorbike lover Yotsakorn Pansuwan, 16, said his Honda Wave conked out while he was travelling to school in Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya, central Thailand on August 7.<br /><br />However, he did not have any means of transporting the scooter to the shop and pushing it to classes would have taken too long.<br /><br />He called his friends for help who rushed to take his beloved scooter to the mechanic shop near their school.<br /><br />Dashcam footage shows the young lad carrying the scooter on his lap while his friend steers through morning rush hour traffic.<br /><br />He even made it to lessons on time - before returning to the repair shop later that afternoon.<br /><br />Speaking after, Yotsakorn said: "I was glad that my friends did not leave me alone, they helped me so we could go to the school together.<br /><br />''There was nobody with a pickup truck to help me. So carrying the bike on my lap was the only way. I could not just leave it outside.''<br /><br />Riding on a motorcycle while carrying another bike is not covered by any specific road laws in Thailand and it is common for locals to carry unusual objects.<br /><br />However, police may stop road users at their own discretion if they believe they pose a danger.
