A lightning bolt struck the top of Oriental Pearl TV Tower in Shanghai in the evening of Monday (August 10).<br /><br />According to the general manager of Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the TV tower has lightning protection device which kept it safe during the lightning strike.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
