The newly active volcano Mount Sinabung spewed thick ash and smoke into the sky in west Indonesia. <br /><br />Timelapse footage filmed today (August 12) following its recent eruption on Monday (August 11) shows ash and smoke spewing from the crater.<br /><br />Mount Sinabung, situated in Karo, North Sumatra, became active in 2010, erupting after nearly 400 years of inactivity.
