모리셔스 해안 좌초...일본 배서 기름 거의 다 제거<br /><br /> Almost all the remaining oil from the Japanese cargo ship that has caused a massive oil spill after it ran aground off the coast of Mauritius... has been pumped out. <br /> The island nation's Prime Minister said more than three thousand tons of oil from the ship's fuel tanks had been pumped out, and only a small amount remained on board somewhere else. <br />He added the operation had been a "race against time", amid fears the ship could break in two.<br />The fuel was transferred to shore by helicopter, and to another ship owned by the same Japanese firm of the stranded ship.<br />The ship ran aground on a coral reef on July 25th and caused massive environmental damage to the island nation home to world-renowned coral reefs. <br />
