I'm Kim Jae-hee.<br />Let's begin with the devastating floods in China that have affected more than 63 million people this summer.<br />China's emergency management official said Thursday... the floods that have continued since June have left more than two hundred people dead or missing, and destroyed 54-thousand homes.<br />"Among relief work, we always put the relocation of affected people as the top priority of our work. More than 4 million residents have been evacuated to safety, marking the largest number over the past years."<br />The floods have caused economic losses of some 25-point-7 billion U.S. dollars... which is more than 15 percent higher than the average flood damage in China over the past five years.<br />A total of 634 rivers have seen floods this year across China... with large freshwater lakes, including the Yangtze River, seeing water levels rise alarmingly.<br />
