The Inspector-General of Police said the Special Action Unit protection detail for former premier and now opposition leader Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad would be increased if there was a security threat. The police have recently scaled down personnel to protect him.<br />The IGP also said the police would claim the body of IS militant Dr Mahmud Ahmad who was killed in the Philippines last month.
