Malaysia has contingencies in place to battle the haze should it occur and is prepared to provide assistance to Indonesia to put out forest fires in the republic.<br />Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said his officers have bee instructed to liaise with the Indonesian authorities.
