This was the moment a group of divers encounter a huge southern right whale in Puerto Madryn, Chubut.<br /><br />The footage from July 2018 shows the group of divers in the turquoise water exploring the sunken vessel.<br /><br />Suddenly the large whale appears from outside of the divers' vision and swims above them and away.<br /><br />The filmer - Michael Lang - can clearly be seen expressing excitement and joy following the encounter.<br /><br />Lang explained to Newsflare: "We were diving in Argentina, Puerto Madryn. <br /><br />"We were exploring a wreck when suddenly a whale appeared. <br /><br />"It is a southern right whale, which they go regularly to those waters during the winter to mate and breed. <br /><br />"It is strictly prohibited to dive with whales. <br /><br />"They are very protected in the country, but if you are diving and one happens to appear it's ok as long as you don't bother it in any way."
