The Private Member's Bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965, also known as RUU355, was not debated in Parliament before the Dewan Rakyat was adjourned on Thursday. <br />This left PAS lawmakers disappointed.<br />RUU355 seeks to give the Syariah court the power to mete out harsher punishments.
