Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has quashed allegations that the Pakatan Harapan-led government will not protect Islam, saying that the government would continue to be responsible in administrating the country without doing anything contrary to Islamic teachings.<br /><br />Dr Mahathir said that during the Parti Pribumi Bersatu breaking of fast event at Putrajaya on Monday.
