Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte asked a woman to kiss him on the lips in exchange for a book during an official visit to South Korea, stirring a controversy.<br />In a later interview, the woman identified as Bea Kim said the kiss did not mean anything to her and there was no malice.<br />But critics say even if the kiss was consensual- it was a grave abuse of authority.. especially since Duterte has a history of making sexist remarks--including numerous jokes about rape.
