Eight volunteers ferrying numerous items for flood victims faced a precarious situation after their four vehicles were submerged under nearly two metres of water in Kampung Bekok, Jerteh around 8pm Sunday.<br /><br />Besut district police chief Supt Abdul Rozak Muhammad said the volunteers were members of the Malaysia International Search and Rescue (MISAR) team from Kuala Lumpur.<br /><br />They were rescued by villagers and their vehicles were taken to high ground.
