As land scarcity is an issue of concern in Penang, especially on the island, the state government hopes the Penang South Reclamation will come to fruition. <br /><br />The massive plan off the southern coast of Penang island will see the size of 3,600 football fields being reclaimed for mixed development projects. <br /><br />Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow says the three man-islands will become a green and smart city creating jobs opportunities housing and social amenities for the future generation.
