Controversial Muslim preacher Dr Zakir Naik has been charged in absentia by the Indian authorities on Thursday with money laundering.<br />Zakir Naik who is wanted by his home country, India has been alleged to have acquired US$28 million or RM116 million worth of criminal assets. <br />He is currently leaving in Malaysia where he has permanent residency.
