Energy, Technology, Science, Climate Change and Environment Minister Yeo Bee Yin told a press conference in Pasir Gudang on Friday that a scientific committee has been set up to identify the cause and solution for the chemical waste pollution in Pasir Gudang.<br /><br />She also said that the worst affected area of up to 680 metres in Sungai Kim Kim where the dumping occurred has been cleaned up.<br /><br />The chemical leak, which started on March 7, saw more than 3,000 people seeking medical treatment while 111 schools in Pasir Gudang were ordered to close indefinitely.
