Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will be at Penang’s Esplanade on Saturday, to officiate the Merdeka month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2018 campaign.<br /><br />Themed ‘Sayangi Malaysiaku’, the campaign will have activities such as fireworks display, flash mobs, and concerts.<br /><br />Penang Island City Council mayor Datuk Yew Tung Seang said the event aims to instil the patriotic spirit among Malaysians.
