Pakatan Harapan candidate Zawawi Ahmad Mughni has defeated Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Lokman Noor Adam in the Sungai Kandis by-election, with a majority of 5,842 votes.<br />His opponent Datuk Lokman Noor Adam received 9,585 votes whilst independent candidate K.
