Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is baffled at how people can be influenced by a person who is facing a trial for cheating and stealing money.<br /><br />In a reference believed to be of the former prime minister, Dr Mahathir said people had resorted to "kissing the hand of a thief" as the Pakatan Harapan government did not know how to tell its "stories" well.<br /> <br />Dr Mahathir spoke to reporters after visiting the 5G Demonstration Project at the Langkawi District and Land Office on Monday.
