Responding to a question on whether university students were screened before being allowed to return to their respective hometowns, Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on Thursday clarified that most of the university students only underwent health screenings instead of Covid-19 tests as all of them had undergone four weeks of mandatory quarantine.<br /><br />He explained that the students were not made to undergo such tests unless they were symptomatic.<br /><br />This was in response to a question whereby two students from the Sultan Idris Education University in Perak had tested positive for Covid-19 when returning to Sabah.<br /><br />WATCH MORE: https://thestartv.com/c/news<br />SUBSCRIBE: https://cutt.ly/TheStar<br />LIKE: https://fb.com/TheStarOnline
