Several MPs called for Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd management as well as the incoming management to be responsible for all staff laid off.<br /><br />This include those who took the voluntary separation scheme (VSS).<br /><br />In a press conference at Parliament on Tuesday, Kapar MP Datuk Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid called for National Union of Journalists (Utusan branch) to take legal action against the management for non-compliance of the collective agreement.
