Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Tuesday said he had criticised the Forest City development in Johor due to the nature of the project, not the prospect of foreign ownership.<br /><br />His comments come as brickbats continue over the government’s decision to lower the threshold for foreigners buying high-rise homes from RM1 million to RM600,000.
