In jest, Pakatan Harapan secretariat chief Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said PAS should be supporting the Pakatan Harapan candidate Karmaine Sardini in the Tanjung Piai by-election instead of BN candidate Datuk Seri Wee Jeck Seng. <br /><br />Saifuddin said this to remind the Islamist party of its previous insistence that voters should back candidates based on their religion first.
