The head of Bukit Aman’s counter-terrorism division, Deputy Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay has been appointed as the new Johor police chief.<br /><br />Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador says Ayob has done well at leading his previous division at the Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division and now to be exposed to other leadership roles. <br /><br />The new police chief replaces Comm Datuk Kamarudin Md Din.
