Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) president Datuk Tan Kok Liang has confirmed that a total of 95,000 hotel bookings had been cancelled due to coronavirus and the travel ban imposed by China on its citizens.<br /><br />Tan said this on Tuesday, adding that the cancellation amounted to almost RM40 million of losses.<br /><br />He also urged the government to introduce a stimulus package as soon as possible to help the tourism industry.
