The next-gen console is <br />set to be released later this year.<br />Some PlayStation 4 games will <br />be playable on the console,<br />but when it comes to titles made for the PlayStation 5, gamers won’t be able to use the PlayStation 4 DualShock controller.<br />So if people want to play PS5 games, they'll have to buy the next-gen console's controllers.<br />"We believe that PS5 games should take advantage of the new capabilities and features we’re bringing to the platform, including the features of DualSense wireless controller." Sony, via statement.<br />However, if someone is playing a PS4 game on the next-gen console, then they will be able to use a PS4 controller in that situation.<br />"The DualShock 4 wireless controller and PlayStation officially licensed third-party gamepad controllers will work with supported PS4 games."
