Amusing footage shows six Thai builders jumping on a plank to sink a concrete post into the water.<br /><br />The bizarre 'low-tech' construction method was used by workers strengthening a floating river house in Phichit province, Thailand on August 10.<br /><br />Mod Sap Settura said her neighbours were having their stilt house repaired to withstand the annual monsoon rainy season which brings tropical storms.<br /><br />She said: "The workers are so creative with their limited tools. They don't have expensive equipment or materials but they can still produce quality results."<br /><br />The creative men used their combined weight to sink the post into the river bed because they don't have the machinery that can do it in the water.<br /><br />Buildings in the flood-prone region has previously been damaged when the river swells from heavy rain.<br /><br />The country's rainy season with regular tropical storms and torrential rain lasts from the end of May until late September.
