A "Free Jaggi" protest against human rights violations in India took place outside Downing Street, London, on August 19.<br /><br />Demonstrators aim to highlight the treatment of Sikhs whose human rights have been violated in India and the UK's lack of involvement.<br /><br />Specifically, Jagtar Singh Johal (Jaggi), a Sikh human rights activist from Scotland who was abducted, tortured and imprisoned by the Indian government.<br /><br />One of the protestors, named Deep, said: "Jaggi has been accused of crimes he did not commit, and he has been held for over 1000 days".
