트럼프 "대이란 제재 복원 요구"…유엔에 통보 지시<br /><br />President Trump has revealed the U.S. intends to restore UN sanctions against Iran.<br />He made the remarks during a press conference at the White House on Wednesday, local time.<br />The comments come as the UN Security Council rejected a U.S. resolution last Friday to indefinitely extend the arms embargo on Iran.<br />As a result, President Trump says the U.S. is now pushing forward with "snapback" sanctions.<br />"Snapback" refers to the restoration of sanctions against Iranian firms and industries if Tehran continues to enrich nuclear fuel beyond the limits of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.<br />A debate is likely to ensue within the Security Council on whether the U.S. has the right to re-impose sanctions when it withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018.<br />
