Residents battle through flooded roads in Delhi, India, on August 19 after the area was hit with severe monsoon rain.<br /><br />Footage is from the city of Gurugram where the deluge forced many to wade through the knee-deep dirty flood water which also breached their homes.<br /><br />Across India, the death toll from the annual monsoons this year has risen to more than 1,300 with millions displaced from damaged homes.
