Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula, is hoping a new taxi forum will help tackle issues within the industry. The National Taxi Lekgotla Public Discourse Platform was launched on Thursday. The Minister says it will look at issues such as taxi violence and regulation and formalisation of the industry.
