Three see-through public toilets have been placed in a park in the Japenese capital.<br /><br />The walls of the conveniences in Yoyogi Fukamachi Mini Park are made of transparent glass which turns opaque when members of the public enter and lock the door. <br /><br />The project is the work of the Nippon Foundation in collaboration with Tokyo's Shibuya district government to redesign public restrooms to allay fears about safety and hygiene.
