Police officers dispersed crowds of left and right-wing protesters on Friday (August 21st) as they threatened to clash on the streets of Los Angeles. <br /><br />According to an eyewitness, the scene turned "rowdy" when around 100 BLM supporters arrived on the same street as scores of counter-protesting Trump supporters.<br /><br />Police placed themselves between the two groups to prevent clashes and used smoke bombs and possibly tear gas to disperse the crowds. <br /><br />According to an eyewitness, several rocks were thrown at police.
