Residents of several villages in the Indian state of Karnataka have developed a very easy way of catching huge fish.<br /><br />Every year they wait for their local lake to overflow with floodwaters and then stand near the embankment and scoop up the fish which drop into their hands.<br /><br />A video filmed on August 7 in HD Kote in the state of Karnataka, shows a group of villagers showing just how easy it is to put food on the table at this time of year. <br /><br />A local resident Shiva Raju said: “People wait for this season every year. This year even corona could not stop them from gathering together to take the fish home.”
