Kim Kwang-hyun pitches six scoreless innings in first MLB win

MLB '코리안 데이'서 김광현, 감격의 첫 승리…류현진도 호투<br /><br />In Major League Baseball, South Korean rookie pitcher Kim Kwang-hyun has picked up his first big league win, pitching six scoreless innings to give his St. Louis Cardinals a 3-nil win over the Cincinnati Reds.<br />Kim gave up just three hits, struck out three batters and gave up no walks.<br />He threw 83 pitches, 55 of which were strikes.<br />That performance lowered his ERA from 3-point-8-6 to 1-point-6-9.<br />Kim had been a reliever for the Cardinals but was given his first start just this past week.<br />Fellow Korean Ryu Hyun-jin, with the Toronto Blue Jays, gave up three hits and an earned run on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Rays.<br />He did get six strikeouts, though.<br />That one was a 2-to-1 loss for the Jays, going into extra innings.<br />
