The volcanic Mount Sinabung in the Karo Regency, North Sumatra has erupted several times today (August 24).<br /><br />Footage shows the eruption with what is estimated as a 500-metre ash column.<br /><br />The volcanic mountain has erupted many times over the last month prompting warnings for local residents.<br /><br />Residents have been warned to stay at least three miles from the volcano due to a risk of flowing lava.
