A woman was shocked after finding a 6ft long monitor lizard hiding under her garden table.<br /><br />Oranong Huailuok, 52, returned home and saw the reptile's huge tail poking out from under the furniture in Krabi province, Thailand on August 18.<br /><br />The terrified woman said the animal rampaged into her place and then hid under the marble chairs in an extension being built<br /><br />Oranong immediately called the animal rescuers for help as she did not know what to do with the reptile blocking the entrance to her house.<br /><br />She said: "It was the biggest lizard that my child and I have ever seen. We were afraid that it would harm our family."<br /><br />The animal team arrived and caught the aggressive lizard after 10 minutes. Its mouth was wrapped while its arms and legs were tied by a rope for safety.<br /><br />One of the volunteers said: "The animal was quite fierce, it was trying to attack us. Good thing the house owner called and did not try to catch the lizard by herself."<br /><br />The monitor lizard was later taken out of the house and carried into the rescuers' truck before it was released back into the jungle.
