North Korea plays with fire after shooting dead three Chinese fishermen - Kim goes rogue

KIM Jong-un's North Korean has risked the wrath of China after soldiers gunned down three Chinese fishermen operating illegally in the Hermit State's waters, an insider has claimed.<br />With rumours of Kim's death resurfacing yesterday, the incident underlines ongoing tensions within the secretive nation and a sense of paranoia which even extends to its closest international ally after the closure of the border in a bid to prevent the spread of COVID-19. A China-based source told the US-backed newspaper NK Daily a North Korean patrol boat had opened fire on the Chinese vessel, which was apparently fishing without permission, on August 11.<br />The insider said the boat had been spotted off North Korea's west coast, close to Haeju and Ongjin County in South Hwanghae Province.<br /><br />In total there were 10 vessels, of which the patrol ship singled out one, opening fire and killing the three men instantly.<br /><br />The source added: "Up until last year, North Korean patrol boats had never gone beyond making threats so they could receive bribes.<br />
