A heroic police officer stopped a driverless car from being hit by a bus in central China.<br /><br />The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Yichang in Hubei Province on August 20, shows a car rear-ending another one, then the driver from the front car got out to check.<br /><br />However, the front car suddenly moved away after the driver stepped out as he forgot to pull the hand brake.<br /><br />The driver then started to chase after the car as well as a police officer who was patrolling on a motorcycle.<br /><br />After the police officer passed the car, he threw his motorcycle away to run to open the car door and jumped inside to stop it.<br /><br />Fortunately, the car was stopped in time at the intersection, narrowly avoiding being crashed into by a bus.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
